At 12:22 PM yesterday, May Ann Toledo reserved the last slot for Software Freedom Day 2010 as attendee #470.

470 is the maximum number of participants that the Leong Hall auditorium at the Ateneo de Manila University can accommodate.

Congratulations! You are all registered for Software Freedom Day 2010. A seat has been reserved for you on September 18. :)

As always, registration is free. Simply present a valid ID at the registration desk so we can cross-check it with your online registration details.

Speaking of which, please feel free to update your information by logging in to http://sfd.bluepoint.com.ph/ and clicking on "Options" from the "Navigation" box.

Just in case you need to reset you password, you can do so here:

http://sfd.bluepoint.com.ph/reset.php

Oh, please bring lunch money. You can have lunch at the cafeteria, or the nearby restaurants at Katipunan if you like.

Finally, please notify us if (for any reason) you cannot attend the event so that we can give your slot to others. Thanks in advance!

See you on September 18! :)

Hi Marlonn! We are still coordinating with Ateneo security to see if stubs can be issued like we did last year at the NCC. Until then, a valid ID appears to be the most convenient way to verify attendees. Thanks!

The certificates were released last January 19, 2010. As per http://bluepoint.com.ph/sfd09/crt/ instructions, Certificate of Attendance will only be generated if:

1. You attended the plenary session.
2. You attended the technical sessions.
3. You submitted a certificate request stub.

I quoted the original notification message sent last January 19 below for your records:

Hi Joshua,

Thank you for celebrating Software Freedom Day 2009 last September 19 with us!

You can now generate and download your Certificate of Attendance here:

Our apologies for the delay. 2009 has been an extremely busy year. ;)

Irene

We discovered several multiple accounts during our manual clean-up today. Please note that one person creating multiple accounts deprives other people of the chance to reserve their slots.

All multiple accounts have been pruned, resulting in 14 free slots. Your friends can try to register here:

Hi Florenz! No tickets needed at this time. Just present a valid ID at the registration booth on September 18. The name on your ID must match the name you registered with at http://sfd.bluepoint.com.ph/ (which will also be the name printed on your certificate of attendance). See you then!

10 days to go before Software Freedom Day! :D

While all 470 slots have been reserved online, our partners at the Ateneo would like to know how many people will actually show up and attend the event on September 18.

In line with this, kindly login here and confirm your attendance:

http://sfd.bluepoint.com.ph/login.php

Lost or forgotten passwords can be reset here:

http://sfd.bluepoint.com.ph/reset.php

All you have to do (after logging in) is enter the name of your company or school and press the confirm button. We will also use this information to design a more efficient ingress plan for Software Freedom Day 2010.

Thanks in advance! :)

Congratulations to the organizers!

Johan Janssens appearance at the celebration was a big treat. Learning Joomla is one of the requirements in the subjects that I teach. I have a short tutorial for my students to start with.
